About Jason Bell

Jase Bell
Brought up in York and now living in Northern Ireland. I work as founder of Datasentiment, a customer loyalty system, and also as senior developer for Learning Pool who do eLearning for the public sector.
On the networking side of things I am the original organiser of Open Coffee Coleraine (now handled by NWLLA) and help out at various little things going on in the province. With the experience that I’ve gained over the last 20 something years in computing, supply chain and retail I do get called to talk once in a while.
It’s always difficult to explain what I do as you don’t really see anything, just the end result. In the open source side of things I was one of the first to publish a Java api for writing RSS feeds while everyone else was hellbent on reading them (a project called RSSLibJ) with Joseph Ottinger. I also developed prototaglib which was an Ajax JSP tag library.
